There have been no further meetings regarding the public water and sewer proposal by the county, but there is one coming up on Thursday at 3:30. Mr. VanMeter informs everyone of phone calls that he has received regarding the Lane property. Someone is researching possibly sub-dividing the property. He informed them that drawings would need to be provided. Yes, it is possible but they need to do their due diligence. Nancy Genga reached out to Mr. VanMeter to let him know that the Baptist church wants to tear down their parsonage and asked if the town had any requirements to do SO. He informs her that the town does not require any sort of demolition permit. Many phone calls were received with questions about the old Wesleyan Church. Can it be converted back to a church? Can they add a bathroom? Can they add additional parking? Mr. VanMeter answered all of these to the best of his abilities. There was also a phone call with questions about approved uses for the old bank property. The caller is potentially looking to use it as offices and/or storage for a funeral home. According to Mr. VanMeter": s research, this would be an approved use. The owner of 200 Main Street would like to tear down their old garage and rebuild a bigger one. Mr. VanMeter told them this was not possible unless they merge parcels. Angie asks about the grocery carts in the ditch along the Dollar General property. Stanford said that he will talk to the manager, Jerry, about them. Debbie requests reimbursement for her expenses related to the Christmas festivities and for anyone to provide a copy of the last bridge inspection from 2014 if they have one. There being no further business, Debbie made a motion to adjourn, Robert seconded, passed. Respectfully submitted, Kortney Robinson
