We would like all teens in Lodi Unified School District High Schools to be aware of this fun event sO they can attend. There will be snacks, raffle & great prizes, games, music, and a photo booth for make a memory. Tickets will be sold at the door Saturday from 9 am to 9 pm. Discussion Items: How do you feel this event was? What could have been done differently? How can we have increased attendance for this event? Not all Advisors showed up to help, advisors are requested to be al all LYC Events. Ticket Sales, 775 we sold that evening Raffle winners must be present to win, that includes all commissioners as well! Attendance, possible reason for low attendançe/ticket sales Do we have this event again? The final cancellation decision is on the City Liaison, but must inform the chair prior and discuss the reality of the expenditures and revenue? Introduction K-12 education addresses many important academic areas, but there is a gap in the life skills young adults need to successfully transition into adulthood versus what they learn in school. To help address this gap, the Lodi Youth Commission has elected to pursue the Transitional Life Skills Initiative.
