1/13/2025 Meeting Minutes COUNTY OF BURNET CITY OF MARBLE FALLS STATE OF TEXAS On this Monday the gth day of December 2024 the Parks and Recreation Commission of the City of Marble Falls, Texas convened for a regular meeting at 12:00 pm in the City Council Chambers located at 800 Third St., Marble Falls, Texas, with notice of meeting giving the time, place, date and subject having been posted as described in Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code. January 13th, a 2025, Meeting - Page 1 of2 1/13/2025 Meeting Minutes Monday, December gth, Regular Meeting: Chair Harding made a motion and Commissioner Watkins seconded the approval of the previous meeting minutes. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS. Director of Development Services Kim Foutz gave a presentation on the trail master plan and sought a recommendation to amend the Ordinance, Appendix B (Development Code), Article 6 Subdivision Design and Land Development, Section 6.2.11 - Areas of Public Use and Section 6.2.13 - Trail. Commissioner Watkins made a motion to approve the recommendation, Commissioner Mekaelian seconded the approval. DIRECTORS REPORT Director Dingman provided an update on Parkview Park construction set to begin at the end of January, Westside Park funding to be placed on a future TPWD agenda, and Thunder Rock progress is 70% complete.
