Judge Elliott asked for proof of posting and the same was affirmed by Elizabeth Perez, County Clerk, on the north and south door and the bulletin board on the second floor. No elected official reports. 4. Discussion and/or action conceming American Rescue Plan. Nothing at this time. 5. Executive Session Government Code $551.071. to Consult with Attornev, re. County of Falls V. Purdue Pharma, L.P. et al. MDL PRETRIAL CAUSE NO. 2018-63587. in the 152d District Court of Harris County, Texas. After the executive session, the Commissioners Court may consider, in open session. any motions one or more ofi its members wish to make. regarding this item. Went into executive session at 9:25 a.m., and went back to regular session at 9:34 a.m. 6. Consideration of authorizing the County Judge or other authorized officials to execute the Settlement participation and release forms regarding settlement offers from Kroger in the matter of Texas opioid multi- district litigation for the County in the matter of Counoy of Falls V. Purdve Pharma, L.P. etal. Commissioner Willberg made a motion to approve the resolution for the Kroger part of the opioid settlement. Commissioner Albright seconded; motion carried. 7, Discussion and/or action concerning interlocal agreements with Milam, Limestone and McLennan County to house inmates. Judge Elliott stated at this time we have only received an interlocal with Milam County to house inmates. Commissioner Willberg made a motion to accept the interlocal with Milam County. Commissioner Albright seconded; motion carried. 8. Discussion and/or action concerning RAPPS IGT (indigent health care) payment in the amount of $27,600.68. Commissioner Albright made a motion to approve the RAPPS IGT payment in the amount of$27,600.68. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 9. Discussion and/or action conceming county inventory. Commissioner Albright made a motion for all County OffiƧes to turn in their inventory by December 15 ofevery year, which need to include any office items with a value of $50 or more. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. I0. Discussion and/or action concerning approving county official's bond. Commissioner Albright made a made a motion to approve the county official's bond. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 11. Discussion and/or action concerning the restriction of Joe Lopez. in his capacity as Sheriff for Falls County.as that pertains to the authorizing or making expenditures from County funds as mandated by Texas Local Government Code. Section 130.908, otherwise known as the "Lame Duck" law. Commissioner. Albright made a motion that Joe Lopez, Falls County Sheriff, can not spend more than % ofthe Sheriff's Department budget. Commissioner Albright seconded; motion carried. 12. Discussion and/or action concerning Rodeo Springs Addition plat. Moved to the next mecting on December 9, 2024. 13. Discussion and/or action conceming Bahia Pipeline. LLC road use agreement. Moved to the next meeting on December 9, 2024. 14. Review and discussion of Road and Bridge precinct work reports. including Administrator's progress report. Judge Elliott gave the Road and Bridge report for Jeff. Jackson, Road and Bridge Administrator. Judge Elliott stated that they are still working on cleaning up the debris. Also, they are waiting on the completion of the road use agreement with Bahia. 15. Discussion and/or action conceming the approving ofpayment of bills. including reimbursements. late charges. the transfer of cash or funds from any line item or departments to another. book transfers and any budget amendments: including but not limited to discussion and action concerning department or non-departmental items with line items that go past their budgeted amounts. Commissioner Albright made a motion to approve the payment of all bills, budget amendments and payroll. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 16, Approval ofminutes of prior meetings ofCommissioner'st Court. Commissioner Willberg made a motion to approve the minutes of the prior meeting with the corrections. Commissioner Albright seconded; motion carried. 17. Adjournment.
