Discussion on a Salary increase to JP #1 head clerk in the upcoming 2024-2025 Budget year. - Honorable Judge Eric Ramos informed the Court that he did look into salaries in this category for anyone that has worked for 10 years and at the same salary pay. Judge Ramos did state that he found some at the Landfill but within 5-6 years of employment and that this is the only position at $26,500 for 10 years. Commissioner Cabrera makes ai recommendation for the County Auditor to look into a pay scale for the future. Judge Ramos informed the Court that they received one proposal from Resources Mobility Associates, Francisco Briones for the 20 million dollar grant that has been discussed which is due in November. Commissioner Cabrera instructed to the Court that the County Auditor be involved with Mr. Briones on this grant. It was discussed that this is a 100% grant and are unclear ifit's a reimbursement grant and want to make sure. Budget Workshop Discussed Fund 12 Still waiting on the Salary-benefits Honorable Judge Eric Ramos did say that there were. no other changes besides the action that was taken today for JP#1 Auditor did find a change of$19,000 that needs to be adjusted traffic officer still being discussed and the possibility of the hiring at the beginning of the budget year; moving the salary ofMs. Mora to CID The extra $5,000 being included for the jail for maintenance Discussed Fund 13 Judge Ramos stated that he submitted a budget that included $120,000 for each commissioner, the County Auditor looked into this and was informed that in order to do this, would need to use $750,000 from the fund balance leaving $400,000 plus. It was discussed to lower the amount or skip a year; it was discussed to further discuss this at the next meeting; discussed the option of using a different material for the use of road repairs. 16.
