CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 8171 This item is a second and final reading of an ordinance to consider the rezoning of Lot 1, Block 85, Belmar Unit No. 33, an addition to the City of Amarillo, in Section 27, Block 9, BS&F Survey, Randall County, Texas, plus one-half of all bounding streets, alleys, and public ways, to change from Planned Development 104 to Planned Development 104A for the construction of a building for additional storage units. CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 8172 This item is the second and final reading of an ordinance providing for a variance to distance regulations prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages within 300 feet of a public school in accordance with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code Section 109.33(e) and Amarillo Municipal Code Section 14-3-5. CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 8174 This item is the second and final reading of an ordinance amending the Amarillo Municipal Code to codify an amendment to the Amarillo City Charter, Article V, Section 3. The amendment was passed by voters as "Proposition E" on the ballot for the City of Amarillo November 5, 2024 Special Election. CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 8175 This item is the second and final reading and consideration of an ordinance adopting a budget amendment pertaining to the Fiscal Year 2024/2025 budget to provide funding to the Community Development fund that will provide extreme weather assistance. CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION NO. 01-14-25-1 This item considers a resolution authorizing an Advance Funding Agreement for Highway Safety Improvement Program Phase IV with the Texas Department of Transportation for transportation improvements within the specified program, permitting administrative adjustments to documents as needed, and authorizing the City Manager to execute such an agreement. CONSIDER APPROVAL - MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH BURLINGTON NORTHERN SANTA FE FOR THE NE 24TH AVENUE OVERPASS This item considers the approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway and the City of Amarillo for the purpose of engineering and constructing a new highway overpass at the NE 24th Avenue crossing. This item is to consider approval of a Location Incentive Agreement between AEDC and AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. for an incentive of $15,000 per job created, paid over 10 years (Up to $900,000). DISCUSS AND CONSIDER SALE - REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT BENCHMARK STREET (CENTERPORT BUSINESS PARK) This item considers authorizing the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) to execute a contract and all necessary documents for the sale of approximately 3.61 acres of land, located at Benchmark Street, to Slide Mountain Properties for a sales price of $162,450.00 plus closing and related costs. CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION NO. 01-14-25-2 This item considers a resolution approving amendments to the Articles of Incorporation of the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation.
