The meeting was calledt to order at 9:30 a.m. by Commissioner Walls. This isa ana annual contract at no cost to the General Fund for the contract year. January 1, 2025-December 31, 2025.It was moved by Commissioner Reeder, seconded by Commissioner Thomas and carried (Reeder, yes; Walls, yes; Thomas, Dave Smith requested consideration of approval to attend the DAI Mid-Winter Meeting. This will fulfill his CLE credits. The conference is February 10-14 and costs $800 for the registration and $400 for the hotel stay. Kelvin Abrashoff, CYS Director, requested consideration ofa approval for the resignation of Nicolas Winfield, caseworker, effective 1/24/2025. It was moved by Commissioner Reeder, seconded by Commissioner Thomas and carried (Thomas, Fred Gutshall, Public Defender, requested consideration of approval to appoint ani intern, Daniela Scipioni, effective 1/22/2024. She will work int the Public Defender'sOffice: a minimum of 21 hours per week for one semester. Her pre- employment screenings have been completed.
