January 21, 2025 at 2801 Ranch Road 1869, Liberty Hill, Texas. Quorum was established and all members were present. Chair Cormack led the invocation and the pledges. 2) PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are welcome. You may submit Public Comments inj person, or you) may submit tot the City Secretary at simpon@iberynltsgon before 3:00 PM the day oft the meeting. No comments. 3) CONSENT AGENDA Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion oft those items unless requested by a Commission member, in which event the item(s) will be removed from Consent Agenda and considered under Regular Agenda. Vote on the Motion: Motion carried unanimously by a 3-0 vote. Ayes: Cormack, Vyner, and Barreras. Nays: 0. 4) REGULAR AGENDA a) Discussion, consideration and possible action for Planning & Zoning Commissioners related to making recommendations, and to formulating questions for perspective new members. (E. Simpson) The City Secretary will discuss recent changes that City Council made to the Board and McKenzi Hicks, Interim Planning Director, asked the Commission to postpone this item to the next meeting February 4th since Elaine Simpson, City Secretary, is not present. Chair Cormack Commission appointment process with Ordinance 2025-0-002. agreed to postpone the item. Zaparolli) McKenzi Hicks, Interim Planning Director, informed the Commission that currently she has a Zoning Request from Monroe a/k/a Fort Tumbleweed that the Commission will see soon. The Oaks at Liberty Hill site plan that was previously submitted expired, they are resubmitting. Rio Ranch Phase I replat ofLots 3 and 9, itisai residential development in the ETJ. The Kwik Kar Liberty Hill subdivision replatting it to 2 lots. 6) PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT COMMENTS McKenzi Hicks, Interim Planning Director provided the Commission with updates. The Henrietta Retail Site Plan/Target has been approved. Items to look for at the January 22nd City Council meeting is the Wastewater Master Plan, the water and wastewater impact fees, award UDC contract and authorize staff to negotiate the contract. McKenzi sent an email to the Commission for the Vape Shop Ordinance, the legal team has reviewed it and have provided comments and will be discussed at the February 4th meeting. Had meeting with Kimley Horn today and they are still working on the Sidewalk Fee in Lieu of Ordinance and hope to have ready in March. 7) ADJOURNMENT Given there were no further agenda items and hearing no objections from the members, Chair PASSED AND APPROVED bythe Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Liberty Hill, Texas on February * 2025, on vote of bn Ayes, a Nays, and a Cormack adjourned the meeting at 6:351 P.M.
