APPROVE/AMEND THE AGENDA The agenda was amended to add a closed session pursuant to Code of Virginia $2.2-3711-A- land to remove the public hearing for item 7.A. Traffic Studies/ Special Requests: Monday. B. School Board Report and Appropriation Request Mr. Trump discussed the financial report. Appropriation request for $37,500. December Monthly Finance Presentation and Reports Pon Yusuf Presented the monthly finance reports and discussed current and past expenditures and revenue. F. Department of Social Services Report Audra Morris, DSS Director, presented and discussed the Social Services reports. G. Supervisor Reports: All supervisor reports were held until the end of the meeting. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT A. Public Hearing- Rezoning Request-RR-3 Rural Residential to M-2 Industrial District (Modular Homes. LLC/ Dennis Tatum) Removed from agenda. OLD/NEW BUSINESS A. Capital Improvement Plan Update Mr. Monday provided a progress update on current projects. The board requested to include the school CIP update in the next report. B. Five Forks Road Sidewalk Project Resolution Supervisor Easter motioned to approve the Resolution and the appropriation of$383, 925.00 which is the local match of20 percent. 3-2-0; Motion passed. District 3-The Honorable Benjamin Morris District 4-The Honorable Joseph Easter Informed the board the Chambers of Commerce elected new officers and the Christmas party for the Chambers was the highest attended.
