ORDINANCE 01-2025 SPECIAL ELECTION FOR THE OFFICE OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL SEAT NO.4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CENTURY, FLORIDA, SETTING THE. DATE, TIME, AND PLACE OF A SPECIAL NONPARTISAN ELECTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING THE MAYOR AND A COUNCIL MEMBER TO COUNCIL SEAT NO. 4; SETTING THE QUALIFYING DATES, TIMES, AND PLACES; ESTABLISHING QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATES AND QUALIFYING FEES; ESTABLISHING VOTER REGISTRATION DATES; PROVIDING THE TIMELINE FOR THE OATH OF OFFICE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVEDATE. The qualifying fee shall consist of an Election Assessment based on 1% ofthe annual salary, equal to $37.15, plus a $12.85 filing To qualify for the Office of Mayor, a candidate must be ai registered voter in the Town of Century and must have resided in the Town for at least six (6) months prior to qualifying.
