Development Services: Mobile Vendor Courts Development Services Director Chancey discussed concerns and considerations for criteria regarding mobile vendor courts. Mayor Dobkowski stated that as mobile vendor courts have many considerations, she would like to address the mobile vendor court at a later date. 01/07/2025 Commission Meeting Pagelof3 Commissioner Livsey asked about the ongoing code enforcement issue with Riccardo's and ifit had been resolved. Development Services Director Chancey said it has not. While the food truck is operating legally, the building being used for storage does not have the required permit or certificate ofoccupancy, but iti is still being used. Finance Department: N/A C. d. e. Public Works: State Legislative Grant Requests Public Works Director Titterington informed the Commission that staffis proposing two projects for presentation at the Marion County Delegation meeting on January 8th. The projects include legislative appropriation requests for the SR35-12" Force Main to the Wastewater Treatment Facility and the Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion Project. The Commission concurred with the proposed projects and authorized the Mayor to present them at the meeting. Director Titterington also provided an update on the continuous-read water meters project. The vendor, Neptune, is expected to complete their study by the end oft the month, and he will present the findings to the Commission for review once available. f. Police Department: N/A Information1 Technology:N/A h. LegalServices: City Clerk Position Attorney Landt reported that during the process of] hiring a new City Clerk, inconsistencies were identified between the City Charter and the job description regarding the position's reporting structure. The Charter specifies that the City Clerk is appointed and removed by a majority vote of the City Commission and falls under the Mayor's general supervision, while the job description indicates the City Clerk reports directly to the City Administrator. The Commission discussed the need to resolve the conflict and decided the City Clerk's role would follow the Charter's provisions to ensure consistency, clarify responsibilities, and move forward with the hiring process. i.
