Finance Director Strausbaugh stated at the October 1, 2024, meeting Raftelis presented the 2024 Utility Revenue Sufficiency Study. The study reviewed the revenue sufficiency needs over the next 6-year period. Beautify Belleview Contest Mayor Dobkowski stated The Beautify Belleview Contest brought out wonderful creativity and community pride, with participants adding extra charm to our city. Development Services: Mobile and Roadside Vendors Development Services Director Chancey reported that at the November 5th Commission meeting, the Commission directed staff to propose changes to the Mobile and Roadside Vendor ordinance to allow tables and chairs at food truck locations. Finance Department: Updates Finance Director Strausbaugh clarified a correction to an exhibit in Resolution 24-21 from the last meeting. She originally stated amount of$17,618,648 was incorrect and a motion was made to approve the ordinance with the correction. The correct amount is $17,618,148. The meeting minutes have been updated to reflect this correction for record-keeping purposes e. Public Works: Piggyback Agreement: City ofOcala Sidewalk and Miscellaneous Public Works Director Titterington stated Maintenance and water leak repair of sidewalks sometimes require replacement, orj jobs are larger than what in-house staff can complete. The Department of Public Works would like to have a continuing services contract for those projects too The City of Ocala's current sidewalk agreement provides those services with al local contractor. Attorney Landt will review the agreement before a decision is made to proceed. Mayor Dobkowski: City Clerk Position Mayor Dobkowski discussed the process for hiring the City Clerk with the Commission. Commissioners Smith and Dwyer wanted the Commission to be involved in the interviews. Upon discussion it was decided that the job would be posted internally, a hiring committee would review the applications and pick the most qualified candidates, and the City Commission would then interview these finalists.
