Call Meeting to Order Vice Chairman Natt called the meeting to order at 9 a.m. II. Pledge of Allegiance III. Adoption of Agenda Assistant Secretary Tucker with a second from Secretary Radzikinas made a motion to adopt the agenda as published. Motion carried 3-0 with Chairman Luth absent. IV. Adoption of Minutes A. Special called meeting of November 8, 2024 Secretary Radzikinas with a second from Assistant Secretary Tucker made a motion to adopt the minutes as prepared by staff. Motion carried 3-0 with B. Certification meeting/Regular meeting of November 12, 2024 Chairman Luth absent. Assistant Secretary Tucker with a second from Secretary Radzikinas made a motion to adopt the minutes as prepared by staff. Motion carried 3-0 with Chairman Luth absent. V. Public Comments There were no public comments. VI. Old Business A. Recap of November 5, 2024 General Election and Special Elections Director Smith reported the election went well and there were no major issues. She told the Board there were additional election statistics in the Director's Report. VII. New Business A. 2025 Board of Voter Registrations & Elections regular meeting calendar The Board discussed the proposed 2025 regular meeting calendar. Two meetings in 2025 will be held on a Monday instead of Tuesday in conjunction Assistant Secretary Tucker with a second from Secretary Radzikinas made a motion to adopt the 2025 regular meeting calendar. Motion carried 3-0 with with the election certification meeting. Chairman Luth absent. B. 2025 Election Calendar Director Smith stated the election dates for 2025 are listed in the Director's Vice Chairman Natt cited the special meetings calendar that was provided to the Board includes the pre-certification and certification meeting dates. C. Discussion of general election voter challenges that qualify for post- Report. election hearings pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-230(f) Director Smith provided the Board with statistics on the challenges pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-230 that will automatically become challenges pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-229 because they did not vote in the last election. Attorney Pachuta stated Challenger Lori Wexler does not want her challenges pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-230 to become challenges pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2- 229. The Board discussed possible dates to hear the challenges. Secretary Radzikinas with a second from Assistant Secretary Tucker made a motion to hear the challenges pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-229 at the March 4, 2024 regular meeting. Motion carried 3-0 with Chairman Luth absent. Vice Chairman Natt discussed adding future challenges to the March 4, 2024 Secretary Radzikinas with a second from Assistant Secretary Tucker made a motion that any challenges received by February 7, 2024 be added to the March 4, 2024 regular meeting agenda. Voter Registration Activities Voter Registration applications processing has been on hold during the month of November during the election and post-election while reconciliation processes continue. Processing of voter registration applications that did not meet the October 7 deadline will resume in the month of December. Post Election Reconciliation To date, 25 voter records have been identified that were not credited for voting in GARViS during Advance Voting during the November. 5, 2024 General Election & Special Elections. These records have been manually updated to reflect credit for voting. Staff plans to wrap up the reconciliation process int the coming days.
