GFTRR 1867 CRAWFORD CITY COUNCIL July 16, 2024 Minutes The City Council of the City of Crawford, Texas conducted a Regular Meeting on Tuesday July 16, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. at City Hall, 6719 N Lonestar Pkwy., Crawford, Texas 76638. Present: Mayor Bobby Bain Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Vannatta Councilmember John Weldon Councilmember Neil Watts City Secretary Alicia Chaney City Manager Brian Bolfing Chief of Police Bob Fuller 1. Call Meeting to Order 2. Invocation Absent: Councimember Lewis Snow Councimember Jared Ferrell Mayor Bobby Bain called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. Mayor gave the invocation. 3. Public Comments NONE 4. Discuss and consider action on request to activate water meter at 955 Winding Trail and discuss options for running water to structures on adjacent property. (Mitchell) Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Vannatta to have our City Attorney produce an agreement to provide bulk water" to the Mitchell's for no longer than 18 months. The council gives permission for Brian Bolfing to approve the terms of the agreement, and the Mitchells' will pay all attorney fees. Motion was seconded by Councimember John Weldon and passed. 5. Discuss and consider action on water meter for Damon Farms easement located at 232 Prairie Chapel Road. (Burgess) Motion was made by Councimember John Weldon to approve a meter be added to property #409601, pending property annexation at time of service. There is no time limit to this agreement. Motion was seconded by Councimember Neil Watts and passed. 6. Discuss and consider action on proposal from Keystone Industries for SCADA System for Wells 1&2. Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Vannatta to approve the proposal. Motion was seconded by Councimember John Weldon and passed. 7. Discuss and consider action on proposal from Keystone Industries for SCADA System for Well #3. Motion was made by Councimember John Weldon to approve the proposal. Motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Vannatta and passed. 8. Discuss and consider action to approve David Posten to perform new revised copper and lead reporting. Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Vannatta to allow David Posten to complete the copper and lead reporting on behalf of the City of Crawford. Motion was seconded by Councimember Neil Watts and passed. 9. Discuss and consider action on weekend rates for the Tonkawa Falls RV Park. Motion was made by Councimember Neil Watts to update the RV Park weekend rates to $50/night on Friday and Saturday. Motion was seconded by Councimember John Weldon and passed. 10.Discuss and consider action to approve minutes from 6/11, 6/17, and 7/5. Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Vannatta to approve the minutes as presented. Administrative Update Accepted Accepted Accepted City Manager Brian Bolfing gave an admin update that included an update on the new water well. The wires were shorted out and Brian is meeting with the contractors and electricians in the morning to discuss damages and necessary repairs.
