GFFRARA 1867 CRAWFORD CITY COUNCIL November 12, 2024 Minutes The City Council of the City of Crawford, Texas conducted a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. at City Hall, 6719 N Lonestar Pkwy., Crawford, Texas 76638. Present: Mayor Bobby Bain Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Vannatta Councimember Jared Ferrell Councilmember John Weldon Councimember Lewis Snow Councilmember Neil Watts City Manager Brian Bolfing City Secretary Alicia Chaney Chief of Police Bob Fuller Absent: None Public: Marilyn Judy Mrs. Watts Officer Cody Myers 1. Call Meeting to Order 2. Invocation Mayor Bobby Bain called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The mayor gave the invocation. 3. Public Comments NONE 4. Discuss and consider action for appointment of vacant council seat. Motion was made by Councilmember Jared Ferrell to reappoint Lewis Snow to the vacant seat. Motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Vannatta and passed unanimously. 5. Discuss and consider action on engagement letter from JRBT for the FY 23-24 Audit. Motion was made by Councimember Jared Ferrell to accept the letter of engagement from JRBT fori the FY 23-24 Audit. Motion was seconded by Councimember Lewis Snow and passed unanimously. 6. Discuss and consider action on Official Ballot for the Board of Directors of the McLennan Central Appraisal District. Motion was made by Councilmember Lewis Snow to not submit any votes for the ballot. Motion was seconded by Councimember Jared Ferrell and passed unanimously. 7. Discuss and consider action to authorize the City Manager to complete the reporting for the SLFRF funds to include: Jurgensen Well Repairs and Keystone Industries. Motion was made by Councilmember Lewis Snow to authorize the City Manager to complete the required reporting for the SLFRF funds to include Jurgensen Well Repairs and Keystone Industries. Motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Vannatta and passed unanimously. 8. Discuss and consider action on lease agreement with the Historical Society for museum. Motion was made Councimember Jared Ferrell to table this item until the next meeting to allow the Historical Society to review the lease agreement. Motion was seconded by Councimember Neil Watts and passed unanimously. 9. Discuss and consider action to approve minutes from October 2024. Motion was made by Councimember Jared Ferrell to approve the minutes as presented. Motion was seconded by Councimember Lewis Snow and passed unanimously. Administrative Update The City Manager gave an update to the council to include a water tower update, we are currently waiting for a second quote. Also, a reminder that the May election is coming up and we need to revisit the Municipal Development District. 14.
