ELECTION OF OFFICERS: Member Gloeckner said that he would: move for Beth Goldsmith to continue as Vice Chair, but can wait for a meeting where she is present. Planner. Andrews suggested only electing a chair and as secretary, Vice Chair Goldsmith would remain acting Vice Chair and can be reelected: at a future meeting. Member Rossi made the following motion: Imove to elect Jim as Chair oft the Board ofA Architectural Review commencing immediately through the first meeting in 2026 or until another appointment has been made. Member Saenz seconded the motion. Imove to nominate Kendall Wisniewski as Secretary to the Board of Architectural Review. (Carried 3-0-2 Absent, Rossi: Aye, Gloeckner: Aye, Saenz: Aye Ippoliti: Absent, Goldsmith: Absent) 1Page ACTIONI ITEM: Planner Andrews introduced Deana Coffee, the representative present for the project, and gave a staff report introducing the CDA application for external renovations at 500 E. Main Street for The Board reviewed the proposed renovation plan and color palette. Chair Gloeckner stated that the porch cornice would need to stay asi itis a registered historic property. He also said that ift the columns are original, then they would need to stay as well. Member Rossi expressed concern with the dark navy trim not being consistent with at traditionally historic color palette. Chair Gloeckner said that when the siding is removed, he'd like to know what is underneath. He would the Shahnti Spa. Chair Gloeckner made the following motion: Imove that thel Board of Architectural Review approve BAR-24-05 Shahnti Spa at 500. E. Main subject to the following conditions and/or recommendations: The condition would bel historic elements, if found, remain. The existing porch cornice The recommendation is to consider a lighter trim color rather than the stark, almost black, trim pieces and specialty windows remain color Member Saenz seconded the motion. Planner Andrews shared that the Board may see a CDA application for the proposed drive- thru on Main Street. restaurant at the Shoppes at Main and Maple soon.
