Approval of Minutes of the December 17,2024 Board of Estimates Meeting The minutes oft the December 17, 2024 Board of Estimates Meeting were approved by general consent. Mr. Sandlass made a motion to approve ther recommendation, seconded by Mr. Siemek. Item No. 01-14-25-01 Mr. Kuba presented Solicitation No. 25-130; VMWare; Piggyback-State of Maryland COTS Contract # 060B2490021. Mr. Nick Kuba from the Office of Information and Communication Technology stated that this proposal is for the purchase of VMware Software that administers the County's virtual desktop environment. The County VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Environment is accessed and used by Fire Services, DES 911 Dispatch, DES Paramedics, DES EOC, Health Department, Water and Sewer, and DILP. The VDI Pool is used by various Harford County The Office ofl Information and Communication Technology recommends award in the amount of $53,446.00 to HCGI Hartford, Incorporated dba HCGI of Columbia, Maryland in accordance with Section 41-25 of the Harford County employees and contractors. Mr. Kuba presented Solicitation No. 25-274; Prosecutor Case Management- Annual Maintenance; Change Order# #1. Mr. Nick Kubai from the Office of Information and Communication Technology stated that this proposal is for the CO- term of eDiscovery case management software used by the State's Attorney's Office to manage daily criminal The Office of Information and Communication Technology requests approval for Change Order # 1i in the amount of $10,875.00, increasing the contract total to $80,175.00 to Karpel Computer Systems, Incorporated of St. Louis caseloads. Missouri ina accordance with Section 41-25 oft the Harford County Code. This motion was unanimously approved with 1 member absent. Item 01-14-25-03, Solicitation No. 25-133, was removed from the agenda. Item No. 01-14-25-03 Item No. 01-14-25-04 Mr. Sandlass made ar motion to approve the recommendation, seconded by Mr. Siemek. Mr. Fleming presented Solicitation No. 25-134; (1) New 2025 Ford F-550 Utility Body with a Crane; Piggyback- Mr. Leroy Fleming from the Department of Procurement, Fleet Management, stated that this proposal is for the purchase of one (1) new 2025 Ford F-550 Utility Body with a crane which can be utilized for the installation of stormwater outfall head walls, inlet head pieces, and vault lids. It can also be utilized for lowering heavy material into deep manholes and roadway inlets, the removal and installation of guard rails, and retrieving roadway grates that have dislodged or fallen. The vehicle will be utilized daily and is available for after-hour emergency calls and snow events. The new unit willr replace a unit that has over 113,000 miles and has reached its end ofu useful life. The Department of Procurement, Fleet Management, recommends award in the amount of $116,372.00 to Hertrich Fleet Services, Incorporated of Milford, Delaware in accordance with Section 41-25 of the Harford County Code.
