Stated that she was shaking because of the shooting. Stated that the police officers came out and picked up the shell casings. Stated that her neighborhood car got shot up and appeared visually shaking Stated that she saw on Facebook that crime is going down and it's not. Stated that she has cameras and her neighbor is afraid of being shot through and wants to move. her door as well as others living in the neighborhood. WHEREAS, the Florida legislature adopted Chapter 163, laws of Florida, which require the City of Quincy to prepare and adopt and enforce a comprehensive plan; and WHEREAS, after careful consideration oft the characteristics of such parcels under the minimum criteria of the Community Planning Act, the City Commission has determined the appropriate land use designation for the parcel should be amended; and WHEREAS, the public hearings required to be held by Florida Statutes were appropriately noticed and held by the Planning and Development Review Board, functioning as the Local Planning Agency, on November 1, 2021, and by the City NOWTHEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY OF QUINCY, FLORIDA THAT THE CITY OF QUINCY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, IS HEREBY AMENDED AS Commission on January 25, 2022. Severability Ifany portion of this ordinance is deemed by any court of competent jurisdiction to be void, unconstitutional, or unenforceable, then the remaining provisions and portions remain in full force and effect. Copy on File A certified copy of the enacting Ordinance, as well as certified copies of the City of Quincy Comprehensive Plan Amendment, cited in Section 3 above shall be filed with the City Clerk of the City of Quincy. SECTION 6. Effective Date This amendment shall not become effective until 31 days after adoption. If challenged within 30 days after adoption, small-scale land use amendments shall not become effective until the state land planning agency (DEO) or the Administration Commission, respectively, issues a final order determining the adopted small-scale development amendment is in compliance.
