APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA City manager Jeremy Craig stated that the draft interagency agreement in connection with Item 6A, Resolution 2024-76, Approving ARPA Allocations and Authorizing an Interagency Agreement with the Finance Department Obligating $143,000 from the ARPA Fund (347) and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Said Agreement was now available as it was not published when the agenda packet was published. Copies were made available on the dais Assistant City Attorney Joanna Gin recommended moving Item 6C, Consideration of a 3% Salary Increase for City Manager, Retroactive to November 1, 2024, tot the Discussion Calendar and in the back of the Council Chambers. for the purpose of stating an oral recommendation for the record. Motion by Council Member Scianna, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Bill Biasi, to approve the agenda as amended. Resolution 2024-76 Approving ARPA Allocations and Authorizing an Interagency Agreement with the Finance Department Obligating $143,000 from the ARPAFund (347) and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Said Agreement 6.B. Resolution No. 2024-74 amending the Professional Services Agreement with Lakeview Consulting, LLC for accounting services to increase by $56,800 foratotal not-to-exceed amount of $76,800.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute the amendment. 1,2024 6.C. Consideration of a 3% Salary Increase for City Manager, Retroactive to November Item C was moved to Discussion Items. City Manager Jeremy Craig announced that the consent calendar includes items A Motion by Council Member Richard Casavecchia, seconded by Council Member Scianna to approve the Consent Calendar as amended. Resolution No. 2024-77 Approving First Amendment to Professional Service Agreement with Development Compliance Solutions to Increase by $228,500 for Total Not-to-Exceed Amount of $503,500 and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Said Amendment. The City Manager announced a partnership with Devcom to fill the city planner role with a candidate providing 32 hours per week of planning support. Retired planners will assist during the transition and remain available for key projects. Kate Laddish and Crystal Apilado provided public comments supporting the plan. Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Bill Biasi, seconded by Council Member Richard Casavecchia to approve Resolution 2024-77. Consideration of a 3% Salary Increase for City Manager, Retroactive to November 1,2024 Assistant City Attorney Gin announced that the City's employment agreement states that upon a satisfactory performance review, the City Manager receives a salary adjustment, at the City Council's discretion. If approved by the City Council, the 3% adjustment would increase the City Manager's salary to $206,000, retroactive to Council praised the manager's valuable work and the importance of fair compensation. January 6th. Public safety and public works will have adjusted shifts. Building inspections are available by appointment during these closures.
