She congratulated Barbara Leach as the new CEO of the Madera District Fairgrounds. Mayor Gallegos thanked Parks and City staff for their work on the Jolly Trolley event. She attended "Cookie with a Cop" where 500-1,000 donations of pajamas for children were made. The children got to eat cookies, speak with police officers, take pictures with Santa and get some pajamas.
