Commissioner Monroe announced there will be a community event on May 28, 2018 starting at 12pm at the Ranger Veterans Memorial Park at no charge to the public. 2. Mayor Pilgrim announced Happy Belated Agenda Item 04: Diseuss/Consider: approval of the city council meeting minutes for the regular meeting on April 09, 2018. - Savannah Fortenberry, City Secretary *Motion made by Commissioner Casey for the approval of the minutes as written for the regular meeting held on April 09, 2018 and Commissioner Monroe 2nd the motion. Agenda Item 07: Discuss/Consider: approval for the authorization to advertise for bids on property located behind 1001 E. Loop 254, being the abandoned dead-end portion ofMcCleskey *Motion made by Commissioner Monroe to table the agenda item until it is updated until the regular council meeting on June 11,2018 and Commissioner Gerdes 2nd the motion. All Ayes Agenda Item 08: Discussion: aj presentation from a community organization named the Willow Park Pool Committee in reference to this organization receiving funding and bids for the repairs tot the Ranger Swimming pool and applying for a historical marker in August of2018. - Roy *Roy Rodgers spoke for the President of the Willow Park Pool Committee and asked the City to not to do anything regarding the pool until the Committee can find a solution. AND SURPLUS REVENUE CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION, SERIES 2018A, FOR WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS; LEVYING AN ANNUAL AD VALOREMTAX AND PROVIDING FOR THE SECURITY FOR.
