CITY OF RADGER CALLED MEETING MINUTES NOTICE OF LIMITED PUBLIC ATTENDANCE, AT CITY OF RANGER COUNCIL MEETING Ina accordance with Executive Order No. GA-29, signed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott on. July 2, 2020 relating to COVID-19 aiming at using the least restrictive means available to protect the health and safety of Texans and combatting the threat to public health by continuing certain social-distancing restrictions, increased spread is to be expected, and the key to controlling the spread and keeping Texans safe ist for all people to consistently follow good hygiene and social- distancing practices, everyone must act safely and that all persons should follow the health protocols recommended by DSHS and the CDC. On March 16, 2020, the Governor granted a request by the Texas Attorney General to waive certain requirements of the Texas Open Meetings Act. In accordance with section 418.016 of the Texas Government Code, Governor Abbott has suspended various provisions that require government officials and members of the public to be physically present at a specified meeting location. Therefore, the council meeting will be limited to! 50 percent oft the normal occupancy limit and the overflow of the public will only be able to attend the council meeting virtually. The meeting will be live-streamed on the Ina accordance with the waiver, the public may make comments by calling in to Ranger City Hall at (254) 647-3522 and speaking during the public comment portion oft the Council meeting. You will be contacted when it is your time to speak. In addition, the meeting may include one or more members of the council that will participate by teleconference.
