CITY OF RAER REGULAR MEETING MINUTES A Regular Meeting of the Governing Body oft the City of Ranger, Texas, was held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall, 400 West Main Street Ranger, Texas. Agenda Item 03: Announcements from City Council or Staff- 1. Mayor Pilgrim thanked Ranger Citizen Task Force and Ken Charmin for their helpi in cleaning up Ranger after the ice storm. They hauled off 88 dump truck loads and 7 trailer loads oft tree limbs. 2. Commissioner Gerdes gave her thanks to Mr. Robinson and Mr. Hooks for the clean-up along Loop 254.3. Commissioner Monroe thanked Don Chandler with Ranger Academy ofl Martial Arts for cleaning up the limbs at the Vietnam Veterans Park. 4. Commissioner Monroe also announced that the Easter egg hunt will bel held at the Ranger Vietnam Veterans Park again on March 315t. Agenda Item 04: Diseuss/Consider: approval of the city council meeting minutes for the special called meeting on February 16, 2018. - Savannah Fortenberry, City Secretary *Motion made by Commissioner Casey for the approval of the minutes as written for the special called meeting held on February 16, 2018 and Commissioner Monroe 2nd the motion. Mary Jackson will be holding classes over gardening and they are 50 cents per class, unless helping with the Communal Garden. There are sign-up sheets for volunteers to help with the Garden located at the Quarter Store and the Post Office. Eastside Baptist Church has allowed them to use their lot for the Communal Garden. Agenda Item 06: Diseuss/Consider: approval for the authorization to advertise for bids or proposals by specifications for roadway repairs or replacement to be funded by FEMA Project *Motion made by Commissioner Monroe for the approval ofthe authorization to advertise for bids or proposals by specifications for roadway repairs or replacement to be funded by FEMA Project 4272 and Commissioner Casey 2nd the motion.
