This change can be done, but ifi it increases the price of the project, it may not be approved for the higher amount. WCTCOG will do a cost overrun for the project and submit to FEMA for the higher cost but they may not approve the request. Ift they do not, then the City of Ranger will be responsible for the difference on top oft the 10%. Also, ift the decision is to go with a different fuel type, we will need to get bids and put in front of WCTCOG for approval. I've attached the sizing sheet provided by Jacob & Martin Engineering when the grant was written for your Once the projects are complete the City of Ranger will be invoiced for the full amount of the projects. Once that is paid the WCTCOG will then apply for reimbursement through TDEM/FEMA. These projects are a 90/10 split sO the maximum amount of reimbursement will be 90% of the project cost. Once the reimbursement is received from TDEM/FEMA the WCTCOG will then reimburse For example, the Ranger Wastewater Lift Station is estimated at $242,460.00. The City of Ranger will be invoiced and responsible for paying that once the project is complete and will be reimbursed a maximum of $218,340 once FEMA approves After reimbursement, the total out of pocket for each grant will be a 10% match. The average FEMA reimbursement timeline can be extensive depending on the process. Depending on the reimbursement timeline, the city will be responsible for floating $454,020.00 until the 90% reimbursement is received ifa all projects are review. the City of Ranger. the reimbursement request. pursued by the city. The city needs to consider whether or not these projects are viable to proceed with.
