Mr. Calvert also expressed his opinions of the City Council, stating that they do not know right from wrong, and they continue to make poor Agenda Item 03: Announcements from City Council or Staff- 1. City Manager, Savannah Fortenberry, announced that city hall will be closed Wednesday, November 22nd -24th in observance of Thanksgiving. Ms. Fortenberry also stated that Stage 2 oft the drought is still in effect until further notice and citizens are urged to conserve water as much as possible. 2. Commissioner Erwin stated that she would like everyone to remember Betty Siver on her birthday today. Betty started the Quarter Store many years ago and always worked hard.
