Agenda Item 03: Announcements from City Council or Staff- 1. Commissioner Monroe introduced 3 veterans Butch Seymour, Ruben Zarate, and as the Eastland County Veterans Service Officers. 2. Joel Jimenez and Larry Monroe presented aj plaque to the Rodgers' Family in honor of Audrey Rodger, World War 2 Veteran. 3. Commissioner Butler highlighted events for the public and council regarding the A-Board. The A-Board Commissioner Butler stated the A- Board will have 420k after the sale of the Garner Building in the bank and they are eager for businesses to come to Ranger. The meeting last Monday. 4. Commissioner Butler the EDC-A board had been rescheduled until Tuesday, February 22nd, due to unforeseen circumstances. Included on that agenda would be the annual election of officers from the board of directors, which is different than the process to fill a vacancy on the EDC-A Board. Gerald Gunstanson, City Manager *City Manager had a conference call on March 2nd, with Blackstone. They submitted al letter of intent stating we hired Blackstone to negotiate the claims that were sent to TML. As of March 14th, wel have not had a response from TML regarding the claims Blackstone is reviewing. *No Agenda Item 10: Discuss/Consider: planning for CARES/ARP fund expenditures. - Gerald *City Manager is going to provide a list of funds received, funds spent, and funds expected for Agenda Item 11: Discuss/Consider: Consent Items; the Approval of Monthly Department Action Taken.
