PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TOF RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTERS 1.17.5.28.5.40.552. 5.80,5.90,5.95 6.24,9.40, 9.42, AND 9.60TO UNIFORM APPEAL PROCEDURE FOR VARIOUS TYPES OF BUSINESSES AND THEIR PERMITS INCLUDING EXTRAORDINARY POLICE RESPONSE Following discussion, it was moved by Member Mill and seconded by Chair Perry to recommend that the City Council (1) receive and order file the report summarizing the proposed ordinance amending the Riverside Municipal Code to include a uniform appeal procedure for various types of businesses and their permits; and (2) adopt the proposed ordinance amending Chapters 1.17, 5.28, 5.40, 5.52, 5.80, 5.90, 5.95, 6.24,9 9.40, 9.42, and 9.60 of the Riverside Municipal Code to include a uniform appeal procedure for various types of businesses and their permits, including the extraordinary police PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE ADDING CHAPTER 5.85 JUNK Following discussion, it was moved by Member Mill and seconded by Chair Perry to recommend that the City Council (1) receive and order file the report and presentation proposing an amendment to the Riverside Municipal Code to add Chapter 5.85 Junk Dealers and Scrap Metal Recyclers"; and (2) adopt an ordinance amending the Riverside Municipal Code adding Chapter 5.85 "Junk Dealers and Scrap Metal BILL PROCEDURE response bill procedure. SHOPPING CART RETRIEVAL PROGRAM - UPDATE Following discussion, it was moved by Chair Perry and seconded by Member Mill to (1) receive and order file the report on the current state of the Shopping Cart Retrieval Program; (2) continue the Shopping Cart Retrieval Program process; and (3) request staff bring back an update on the Shopping Cart Retrieval Program in 6 months.
