The Carl Junction City Council meti in regular session on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at 7:00 PM at City Hall. Mayor Mark Powers calledt the meeting to order with thei following present: LaDonna Allen, Rick Flinn, Walter Hayes, Hollie LaVigne, Bobl McAfee, David Pyle, Roger Spencer, and Carole Wofford. Also present were City Administrator Stevel Lawver, City Attorney Mike Talley, City Clerk Alaina Wright and City Administrator Assistant Crystal Winkfield. AGENDA Roger Spencer motioned to approve the agenda as presented. Walter Hayes seconded. All in favor. No opposed. LaDonna Allen motioned to approve the consent agenda. David Pyles seconded. All in favor. No opposed. PUBLIC FORUM REPORTS There was no one present for public forum. Long-Term Project report - Roger Spencer asked for an update on Memorial! Park. Steve Lawver said Liberty did not like the LaDonna Allen askedi ifa anything had been started in Country Club Park. Steve Lawver saidi ith has nots started and on November 7, the 30 days allowed tos start the project was over. There was discussion about moving on to the next bidder. Code/ Nuisance: Rick Flinn had nothing to report. Public Facilities & Planning: David Pyle had nothing to report. Economic Development: Hollie LaVigne had nothing to report. UNFINISHED BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS Steve Lawver said City Hall will havet their Christmas lunch on December 23rd at noon. There was no new business before the council.
