Chairman Bell called the meeting to order at 1:15 p.m. Those present included: Dwayne McFall Kevin Grantham Debbie Bell Board Member Chairman Pro Tem Chairman and Treasurer Present Present Present Also present: Sean Biddle, Assistant County Attorney, Tony Carochi, Fremont County Manager, Barry Acton, Agency Administrator, MINUTES: Board Member McFall moved, duly seconded by Board Member Grantham, to accept the minutes of the January 30, 2024 meeting with no additions or deletions. Upon vote: Board Member McFall, aye; Board Member Bell, aye; Board Member AGENDA: There were no additions or corrections tot the agenda. Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall to approve the January 30, 2024 meeting agenda. Upon vote: Board Member McFall, aye; Board Member Bell, aye; FINANCIAL/CASFIOAD REPORT: Director Barry Acton discussed the caseload count and summary budget reports with no noteworthy" variances from the previous month. After discussion, Board Member McFall moved, duly seconded by Board Member Grantham to accept the. January 20241 financial and caseload reports. Upon vote: Board Member McFall, aye; Board Member Bell, DIRECTOR'S REPORT: Director Barry Acton shared a written report regarding the current staff open positions, a summary of the community partners he met with, and events that were attended duringt the month. Discussions were held regarding how Counties are feeling as timeliness has dropped throughout the State. Director Barry Acton stated thata all Directors are discussing that they are overwhelmed with workloads, shortages in staffing and how the State systems continue to havei issues which causes delays in processing the workloads. New MOD Trails system is doing well with more support fromi the! State. Chaffee County FIOG donated money to Boys & Girls Club to assist with costs for children being able to attend on weekends at their facility.
