Jackson, Fremont County Attorney, Tammy Childs, Fremont County Interim Manager, Tony Carochi, Director, MINUTES: Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall to accept the minutes of the November 29, 2022 meeting with no additions or deletions. Upon vote: Board Member Grantham, aye; Board Member McFall, aye. The motion AGENDA: There were no additions or corrections to the agenda requested. Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall to approve thel December 27, 2022 meeting agenda. Upon vote: Board Member McFall, aye; Board Member MACA/CASIADAEPORE Director Carochi discussed the caseload count and summary budget reports. He noted 768 LEAP applications were processed during the month. After discussion, Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall to accept the November financial and caseload reports. REPORT: Tony Carochi shared a written report regarding the current staff open positions and as summary of the community partners he's met with ande events he attended during the month. The next item to discuss was mid-month meetings; all agreed they would like the meetings to continue in 2023, andi thes schedule The DHS 2023 Quarterly Professional Development Closure Dates was then discussed. Director Carochi requested approval for the building to be closed for professional development stafft training on. January 25th, April 26th, July 26th, and October 25th. Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall to approve closure oft thel building for professional development on those specified dates. Upon vote: Board Member Grantham, aye; Board Member McFall, aye. The motion carried. The CDHS 2023 County Merit Letter was next on the agenda. Those present discussed that CDHS requires every county to certify compliance with the county personnel andi merit system annually. Commissioner McFall, present Chairman of the Fremont County Board of County Commissioners, signed the document as the authorized representative of Fremont County. Thet final topic to discuss was a revised DHS policy, Provision of Child Welfare and Adult Protective Services to an Employee. After discussing the purpose for the revision toi the policy, Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall to approve the revised DHS policy.
