Atthat time, ifthe Council provides af favorable performance evaluation, the salary willl be increased by $2,000 to $110,000. The Council has also expressed interest in revisiting the provision providing a vehicle for use while int the City but prohibiting its use as at take-home vehicle; current Department Heads dor not have the same prohibition. Action Requested: ISSUE OVERVIEW The City Council should determine ifas salary increase is warranted. Background Information & Issue Summary: The contract with the new City Administrator provided a period of three months to assess the City Administrator's performance and determine ifas salary increase is warranted. All five members of the Council rated the manager Section 3(A) of the Employment Agreement states: "The City agrees to pay the Administrator for his services rendered pursuant hereto an annual salary of $108,000 payable in installments at the same time as other employees oft the City are paid. Following a 3- month favorable performance evaluation, the Administrator's annual salary will bei increased to $110,000. The City agrees to pay an allowance of $6,000.00 payable ini installments at the same time as other employees oft the City are paid ifthe Administrator resides in the City ofl Mexico Beach corporate cily limits. The City Administrator will have access to a City Vehicle while at work and vehicle will not be available to take home." favorably.
