The invocation was given by Solicitor Marcus McKnight III, followed by the Pledge ofAllegiance. Mr. Penner stated ai need for an Administration: Pastor Kindon was notified concerning the cleanliness and safety oft the trailhead restrooms. Public Works will be adding a cleaning day during the week and volunteers will be utilized to open and close the restrooms during the weekend due to the broken electronic lock on the men's room. Mr. Ericksen advised there had' been talks with Garret Stahlman, President oft the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail with the CVRT funding the replacement of the executive session to discuss personnel and real estate matters. Page 2of5 Rental Inspection /Code Enforcement: Mr. Line inspected a total of18 rental units in June of which four had failed for not having GFI outlets in the bathrooms. In the month units were inspected of which one unit failed due to no smoke detectors. Mr. Line ofJuly, explained that year to date there have been a total of74 inspections, 11 fails ofwhich three are pending and two Mr. Line has been working on the removal a camper that is being lived in on Chestnut Street. He's working on getting the sidewalk grass at the light cleaned up. Also, he has been working with the property maintenance manager of271 North High Street with correcting the sewer and lead paint issues the property has been cited with. Act, Act 47 of1987, as amended and to ratify and confirm any and all actions heretofore taken, and petitions and documents heretofore executed on behalfofthe Mr. McKnight explained the process in which has taken place. On July 17th a had taken place conducted by DCED.. A hearing was conducted then on August 3rd special in which meeting the Secretary had signed off, approving the application for Act 47 and al loan of $500,000 to cover expenses through March. Mr. McKnight was happy to announce that the money should be received by September 7th which is before the next payroll. A second loan will be received later up to $300,000. Mr. McKnight stated that these monies will helpi in replacing missing money and Mr. McKnight explained that money will need tol be repaid to the Fire Tax fund, also to the Liquid Fuels fund and to the pension funds. Money that should be there, was used for other expenditures by the former manager. Mr. McKnight also received a letter from MidPenn Bank that they will no longer take action against the Borough due to defaulted loans.
