PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETINGSEPTEMBER 24, 2024,at6:00PM WORK: SESSION: Mr. Kobusky reported that on Shonk Street a catch basin was installed to catch rainwater because Also, on Davenport Street, the borough had 95 feet of 24i inch PVC pipingi installed because the Mayor Frank Coughlin said tat he spoke to Mr. Mike Carroll with PennDot regarding the state of Shawnee Avenue. Mr. Carroll assured the mayor that hel has ordered emergency repair to the Shawnee Avenue roadway. He also told the mayor that RT11,Academy St and there wasn'tone there and there were problems with water. current pipe collapsed and needed to be replaced. Shawnee Avenue were on the list tol be paved in 2025. The special meeting was called to order, the "Pledge of Allegiance" was recited and a moment ofs silence was observed. AGENDA VOTING: Motion was made to accept and open the bids that were received before the bid deadline: Whereas, sealed bids were received at the Plymouth Borough Building, located at 162W Shawnee Avenue, Plymouth, County of Luzerne, PA, on orl before September 24th by 4:00 Whereas the bids being accepted were for two (2) contracts for proposed construction to pm; the Plymouth Public Library; Contract #1 - Remove the existing roof and install a new EPDM roof. Contract #2: - Remove existing rooftop unit andi install a new HVAC unit.
