Jones, Councitmember Laura Brownley, Councilmember Bobby Cox, Councilmember: Geoffrey Villegas, Councilmember Patricia' Woodard, Attorney Russell Clark, and City Clerk Dana Burkhalter. ABSENT: Councilmember Dondrea Geter EXECUTIVEE SESSION (employee matters & litigations)- started executive session at 5:30pm Call Meeting to Order by Mayor Lee called to order at 6:06 1. Finance Report Councimember Villegas asked what needed internet; at the east side park City Manager Floyd stated that the camera's do. Councitmember Woodard asked about the fuel bill. Councilmember Jones asked about the numbers on the outside edge of finance report. City Manager Floyd stated that it was the po numbers for the vendors that we require po's for. RICHARD DEAL AUDITOR Auditor Mr. Deal gave a break of the audit and explained their process. The city is in good financial standing. 7. EAST SIDE PARK UPDATE great process City Manager Floyd stated that! he has spoke to Logan and he says everything is moving forward and we are having 8. BACK TO SCHOOL BASH UPDATE Mayor Lee stated that the back-to- school bash is coming along great. It will be. August 3rd from 7pm-until we run out of supplies. The city will be giving out hot dogs, drinks, and chips. We will have some games, and hand out the school supplies that we have donated. The. Alamo Police Chief will have a both set up for the police department to give out supplies as well. 9. FARMERS MARKET UPDATE_ Councitmember: Brownley stated that they do not have an update right now that they are still doing al lot of leg work before, they bring the info back to the council. 10.ICE MACHINE City Manager Floyd stated that he has gotten 3 quotes fort the Ice machine for the city hall. Katom ice machine $4,552.00 Central ice machine $4,879.00 South Ga tool Ice machine $ 4,500.00. Councilmember Jones asked who would maintain the ice machine? City Manger Floyd stated that him and the guys would. Floyd also stated that we will go with a great water filter system for the machine. The ice machine can be purchased with splost money. Motion was made to go with south ga tool by Councitmember Brownley and 2nd by Councilmember. Jones all unanimously approved. 11.LMIG2 2025- Councitmember Villegas stated we want to put street 126to pine street and Nellie Street to Lucille Ave to be put on the 2025 LMIG 12.STREET COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: City Manager Floyd stated that the street committee is going to meet again, we have some citizens asking to rename streets. Some of these streets are already named for citizens and we don'twant to change those. 13.Change date for August Council Meeting City Manageris asking that we move the meeting in August to the 12th oft the month. A motion was made to move the meeting date to the 12th by Councilmember Villegas and 2nd by Councitmember Brownley. Mayor Report_ Mayor Lee stated that her and City Manger Floyd had a zoom meeting with the Lady over the Grant at Eastside Park on Tuesday the gth. Mayor Lee stated that City Clerk Dana and Herself will be on a zoom meeting tomorrow: at 2pm to add some more payment link to our website. We need to add Cemetery plot, Business License and Gazabo rentals.
