Call Meeting to Order--- Mayor Lee called to order at 9:04 am Pledge of Allegiance--Lead by City Manager Jeff Floyd Invocation - By City Manager. Jeff Floyd City Manager jeff Floyd stated that' We are here today to do an emergency procurement to get some debris moved off the right of wayi in the cites and the county. Debris Tech would bei the monitoring firm, Del Sole would be a public service company that would handle the picking up part. This is the Right of way only fori the City of Alamo, City of Glenwood, and County. The city of Alamo would set a date for our citizens to have the debris out by, soi it can be picked up. The Glenwood City Major. Jonier had a question, He asked to make sure that he understood, they will not go up into people's yards to remove debris, it will have to be by the road. It will include metal roofing, and allj just no personal household garbage. City Manager Floyd stated that the City of Alamo will be making a resolution for emergency procurement. At some point all this will have to be bided out. The alleys belong to the city City Manager Floyd, Called. Attorney Clark and got him on the phone for the rest of the process. Brian Smallwood from Philips and Jordan spoke with us all. All of the debris that comes to the right of way we will pick up we can't go onto public property. We can't pick up on state Hwys. FEMA will reimburse you for any money spent to do this. We will pick up more than one time. we will pick up until we get all the debris from this storm. We work and do this 365 days a year. It will take us several months to do this. If FEMA approves, they could approve at 100%. We can not go over the fence we can only cut the part that is over the side on the roadway. We will have a dump site set up for us to dump all this material at, ity will not be open to the public to dump at. We work for you all, if you all see a site that needs to be worked more let us know. Wel have already started with the workers coming in and setting up: some sites. We don'tstart, we work sun up sun down Please make sure the debris is not on anyutilities and mailboxes when you place it.
