MINUTES - COUNCIL MEETING- MONDAY, APRIL15, 2024-6:00P.M. LOCATION: ALAMO CITY HALL IN ATTENDANCE: Mayor, Pamela Lee, Patricia Woodard, Steve. Jones, Laura Brownley Bobby Cox, City Manager, Jeff Floyd and City Clerk, Marie Carrillo. ABSENT: Dondrea Geter and Geoffrey' Villegas EXECUTIVE SESSION (employee matters & litigations) - started executive session 5:30 pm. Woodard would take minutes from Executive session. Brownley madea motion to approve the agenda with additions, Jones 2nd, unanimously approved. 5. Finance Reports - Fuel was listed twice in the expense report. Woodard made the motion to approve the report with the correction fixed and emailed to: members, Cox 2nd, 2nd, unanimously approved. unanimously approved. OLD BUSINESS GEFA Lead Line- -) Floyd stated that the council had already previously approved for Tindall to do the lead line survey, but now GEFA has come back and stated that it must be put out for bids now because it will be a grant. Storm Drain on LS4-F Floyd stated that on the back side ofLift Station 4 there is aj pressure line that goes out to the plant. There have been areas that have already been fixed and there are signs of erosion under the main sewer. line that needs to be fixed. Cox made the motion to put out for bids for repairs, Woodard 2ud, unanimously approved. 9. Old City Hall Building-1 tabled until ASAP Committee meets. 10. City Business on personal devices - due to some incidents where things have been breached and email hacking, all employees need to be using their city devices to handle city business. 11. CH/PD Sidewalk and Parking lot paving = Jeff of course would like to get more bids, but there is a product, epoxy coating, that can be put on the sidewalk. He will sand the concrete, fix the 3 holes from the previous posts, and fix the 21 bad chip spots on the edge before laying the epoxy finish on it. Also, would like toj put out for bids for the paving oft the park lot beside the new city hall, parking lot in front of old city hall and back ofr new city hall for the PD parking lot. Brownley made the motion toj put out bids for the sidewalk in front, Woodard 2nd,Jones approved, but Cox opposed. Passed by majority vote. Brownley made a motion that Jeffi is given the ability to request information regarding the paving or finishing for parking lot, Jones 2nd, Cox approved, but Woodard opposed. Passed by majority vote. 12. Bank Accounts - Floyd has talked with Robins FCU in McRae, and they have a 7-month CD at 5.99% compared to 0.15 on savings and we have several savings accounts.
