DEPARTMENT REPORTS A review ofall department reports. City Manager Drake highlighted several completed and upcoming projects: a sidewalk survey has been completed for the downtown area to identify problem areas, visioning sessions will be held for Twitty Park and the Donnie Cochran Community Center after the new year, bids for the retaining wall project nearl Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Love Street willl be awarded in. January, and an infrastructure project on Burum Street will begin to fix a washed out portion of the road. Pagel I1 FINANCIAL: REPORT A review oft the financial report. RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING END OF YEAR SALARY SUPPLEMENT City Manager Drake presented a resolution 12-12-24-01 for Councils approval. Thej purpose of this resolution is to award City of Pelham employees a salary supplement that has been employed for at least one year. The supplement willl be given in the following time of service tiers and amounts: Years of Service 1-4 years 5-9 years 10-14 years 15-19: years 20-24 years 25-29 years 30+y years Amount $350.00 $400.00 $450.00 $500.00 $550.00 $600.00 $600.00 (cap) Council Member. Adams made: a motion to: approve resolution 12-12-24-01 to give City of Pelham employees an end of year supplement at the years ofservice and amounts presented, seconded by After discussion, Council Member. Adams amended his motion to include a year ofservice and amount cap of30 years at $650.00, seconded by Council Member Davis. The vote was unanimous. Council Member Davis. ANNUALCALENDAR City Manager Drake presented the proposed holiday and Council meeting calendars for 2025. BOARD APPOINTMENTS Page 2 City Manager Drake presented al list ofl board appointments for the Pelham Downtown Development Authority/Pelham Development Authority. Janet Haro and. Jeremy Hege have been recommended for City Manager Drake also presented a list ofthe current Council: representation on several boards: approval to serve terms from 2025-2031. This will be an ACTION ITEM. ELECTION ORDINANCE City Manager Drake presented an ordinance to establish the qualifying fees and state the: seats that will be up for election in 2025. The seats that will be up for election are School Board District 1, School Board District 2, City Council District 1, and City Council District 2. The qualifying fees will be $72.00 for City City Manager Drake is recommending the Council adopt the resolution establishing the qualifying fees Council seats and $36.00 for School Board seats. and open seats for the 2025 election.
