DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES MINUTES DECEMBER 18, 2024 Call to Order Cory Wall moved to call to order the Board of] Human Services meeting at 9:36 AM, seconded by Stan Hitchcock. The motion passed by unanimous vote by Dave Hornung. Those present were Cory Wall, Dave Hornung, Stan Hitchcock, Susan Corliss, Jennifer Gribble, Kristi Janousek, and Theresa Korbelik. 1. New Items: 1.A MOU with Colorado Department of] Early Childhood - Annual Renewal-I DHS (103)Child Care Stan Hitchcock moved to authorize Docusigning of the agreement for Early Childhood Council Contract Amendment #2 extending the contract July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2026, and eliminating the annual reaffirmation, seconded by Cory Wall. The motion passed by unanimous vote by Dave Hornung. 2. Reports: 2.A Monthly Financials The financial reports were reviewed with County Admin is projected to be 4.1% overspent and Child Welfare at 4.7% but not as much as last year. The October expenditures were $183,644.63 compared to $218,421.04 in October 2023. Jenn Gribble gave an update on CSTAT reports. Workloads had 1,693 cases approved and 57 pending for last month, there are a few benefits that could be the same family unit; approximately 1,400 different families are being served. 3. Discussion Items: Adult Long-Term Care Northeast Colorado Association of Local Government has two positions open to cover Adult Long Term Care for Kit Carson and Lincoln Counties.
