Municipal Building - 4000 Main Present: Mayor Margolis, Mayor Pro Tem Winget, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Shinder, Councilmember Reaves, Councilmember Bowers, Councilmember Britton and Councilmember Schupp CALL TO ORDER 1. Mayor Margolis called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION There were no Executive Session items. Discuss and provide feedback on the presentation from American Golf Corporation regarding the operation of the Waterview Golf Course. Paul Ballman, Senior Vice President of American Golf, provided the presentation. The golf course strives to be a key community recreation asset by delivering a top-tier golfing experience. Recent achievements include enhanced greens, irrigation improvements, completion of the first phase of cart path replacement, and the acquisition of updated equipment. Future plans include grass maintenance, replacing the pump station controller, and upgrading the parking lot turf andi irrigation. Efforts are ongoing to increase participation, revenue, and community engagement. Questions were raised about the percentage of cart paths still needing replacement, drought 4B. Discuss and provide feedback on amendments to Chapters 77 and 98 related to tree preservation readiness, and the City staff's capacity for concrete work. and mitigation.
