Invocation Judge Clark began with a moment of silence for the passing of CCL#2 Judge Stephen Wren. 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Community Forum: Individuals in attendance speaking about concerns of biosolids contamination: John Wood, from Grandview Texas presented a letter written by Republican Nominee for State House, Helen Kerwin, from Glen Rose Texas, concerning PFAS (per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances) contamination in Johnson County as well as it's impacts to surrounding counties. (see attached letter) Monty Clark, farm owner at 2229 CR 3655 in Bridgeport, presented to the court an image (see attached) of the contaminated creek a couple hundred feet from their well and reported witnessing a dead cOW from the possible impact of PFAS Republican Nominee for Texas House District 64, Andy Hopper, spoke ofs some concerns people expressed during his door to door campaigning in Southern Wise County, over the application of biosolids in nearby fields and pastures causing a bad smell and dead animals including livestock. Judge comments that it is money better spent to replace the current truck with a new one rather than spend a huge amount for repairs of the current one. Hazard Mitigation Plan and related grant projects: Emergency Management Coordinator, Cody Powell, presents a current project, HMPG- PF-5487, on hazardous fuel reduction at the Decatur Park and Wise County Property.
