The nincty -day ban is expitring.at this time. Commissioner Green moved to reinstate the burn ban for another 90 days, which was seconded by Commissioner Wuebker. The bum ban was reinstated by unanimous vote. 6. Discussion and/or action concerning Appraisal District board of directors 2025-2026 ballot. authorized Volunteer Fire Department. Following al brief discussion, Commissioner Willberg moved to apply 369 votes for Ian Giesler and 370 votes for Bryleen Terry; Commissioner Green seconded. Motion carried. 7. Discussion and/or action concerning approval of changes to the Falls County Employee Handbook. Commissioner Green moved to approve. the changes to the handbook. Commissioner Willberg seconded. Discussion and/or action concerning approving public resale oft tax trust properties. t John Banks presented a list of proposed trust properties to be sold on the Courthouse steps on January 7, 2024 with beginning bid to be at 20% oft the current market value as determined by the Falls County Central Appraisal District. He also noted that research had been donc that indicated those properties that are landlocked, which if not purchased by a neighboring landowner, would have to have suits filed in order to obtain ingress and egress, Following discussion, Commissioner Green moved to approve the sale, Commissioner Albright seconded. Ben Parker appeared for Central Texas Mortuary, Also present were 3 Falls County Justices of the Peace. A discussion regarding best ways to handle death removals. No action was necessary- 10. Commissioner Green moved to modify the payroll to have the 315 payroll to be made on December 23, 2024. Commissioner Albright seconded. Motion carried, 13. Discussion and/or action concerning changing the 2-d Commissioners Court date in December due to holiday. Commissioner Green moved to change the Commissioner Court meeting from the 4t Monday of the month to December 18, 2024. Commissioner Willberg seconded, Motion carried. 14. Discussion and/or action concerning employee appreciation luncheon Dec. 13, 2024. Luncheon for December 13, 2024. Commissioner Albright seconded. Discussion and/or action concering CHIRP SFY25 IGT (indigent health care). payment in the amount of Commissioner Albright moved to approve the payment for the CHIRP IGT in the amount of $84,858.05. $84,858.05. Commissioner Green seconded. Motion carried. Unanimously. 17. Discussion and/or action concerning approving county official's bond. Commissioner Albright moved to approve the bonds for the county officials as presented. Commissioner Willberg seconded. Motion carried. 18. Discussion and/or action concerning Rodeo Springs Addition plat. Information was not available at this time, No: action taken. 19. Discussion and/or action concerning Bahia Pipeline, LLC road use agreement and bonds. Nothing available. 20. Discussion and/or action concerning purchase of power washer for Road & Bridge. There are three quotes. They are all hot water pressure washers. Road and Bridge would prefer the less expensive of the three quotes. Commissioner Willberg moved to approve the purchase of North Star. Commissioner Green seconded. Motion carried. 21. Discussion and/or action conceming proposals for motor graders. Following a lengthy discussion regarding the bids received and the comparison of the costs and comparisons, Commissioner Albright moved to lease two Cat graders and two John Deere graders. Commissioner Green seconded. Motion carried. The representatives from each of the companies were requested to complete paperwork reflecting the changes. 22. Discussion and/or action concerning. jail commission results. Sheriff Lopez noted that most of the initial complaints have been corrected. He is talking to Limestone and McClennan counties regarding housing our extra inmates over 48. 23. Revicw and discussion of Road and Bridge precinct work reports, including Administrator's progress report. JeffJackson reported that hei is working on preparing surplus items for auction. It will probably be. January when the sale is conducted. A new CDL driver has been hired. Mower Max is scheduled for delivery in Mid- December. Still going back and forth with FEMA, but currently have all oft the required paperwork turned in. 25.
