MINUTES  REGULAR MEETING OF THE MONTEZUMA CITY COUNCIL  September 24, 2024 Montezuma City Hall 408 S. Dooly St. Montezuma, GA 31063  CALLTOORDER: INVOCATION:  Mayor Nealie Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Attendees stood as Mayor Nealie Johnson led in prayer, then said the  "Pledge of Allegiance" in unison.  PRESENT:  Mayor Nealie. Johnson; Council Members: Mayor Pro Tempore Daniel Porter, Howard Brown, Walter Felton, Cleveland Hobbs, Charles Ivey, and Marie Tooks; City Attorney, Jon Coogle; City Manager, Mel Fulghom; City Clerk/Administrator, Jennifer McCarthy; Police Chief Eric Finch; Fire Chief Roy' Yoder; Public' Works/W&S Line Maintenance Chief, Lonnie Shaw; W/WW Plants Chief, Terry Cross; Special Projects Coordinator, Angie  Peaster N/A  ABSENT:  Special Presentations & Citizen Comments  Speaker #1: Kim Davis spoke on behalf of the "Concerned Citizens". She stated that the  group is interested in helping with the Montezuma Downtown Christmas Parade.  CONSENT AGENDA  MOTION #1 To accept all issues on the consent agenda, as follows, collectively:  To Approve minutes of regular council meeting of August 13, 2024, as  received by all members.  To adopt the City of Montezuma Watershed Protection Plan (Dated: November 202, Revised August 2024). This plan was prepared for the Spring Creek Water Pollution Control. A copy has beensubmitted to each Council member for review. (A copy is attached to and made part of these  minutes.
