City of Hudson Council Meeting Minutes  The City Council of the City of Hudson, Texas, met in regular session on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, at the City Hall Council Room, 3458 Ted Trout Dr., Hudson, Texas, at  5:00 p.m. 1. Call to Order 2. Invocation 3. Quorum Check  Mayor Robert Smith called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.  Mayor Robert Smith gave the invocation.  Quorum Check was called by City Secretary Cheryl Everett. Councimembers: Mayor ProTem Phil Adkison, Sherry Hellwig,Terry  A quorum was present: Taliaferro, and Frankie Ornduff Absent (at Quorum Check): Juan Ramos Other City Officials present: Rodney McCarty, Interim City Administrator Cheryl Everett, City Secretary Jeff Burns, Police Chief Other City Employees present: Other City Affiliates present:  Other Guests present: (as per Sign In Sheet)  4. DISCUSSION. AND ACTION to approve the Minutes of the previous Council  Meetings.  Discussion:  Action: Mayor Pro Tem Phil Adkison moved to approve the 20240711 Minutes. Councimember Frankie Ornduff seconded the motion. Four (4) for and none (0) opposed. Motion Passed 5. DISCUSSION. AND ACTION to approve New roof for City Hall.  Discussion: Rodney McCarty Interim City Administrator went over the 3 bids for the newr roof: B&J Roofing $14,596.00, Basham Construction Action: Councimember Terry Taliaferro moved to approve Basham Construction Bid for $12,960.00. Councimember Frankie Ornduff seconded the motion. Four (4) for and none (0) opposed. Motion Passed  $12,960.00 and Adam Brothers $10,175.00.    City of Hudson Council Meeting Minutes  6.
