Consider archiving Drought Contingency Plan ordinances 330;333;339 and Water Mayor Gohman explained that the current drought contingency plan and water conservation plan are being replaced with a new resolution combining both plans by the Texas Water Development Board. David Scott made a motion to archive the two plans as  Conservation Plan Resolution 285.  presented, Mike Bailey seconded the motion. Vote: 5/0 motion carried.  2. Consider authorizing Mayor on behalf of City of Bronte to execute the Resolution 24- 10 Water Conservation Plan and Drought Contingency Plan for The City of Bronte to Zach Davidson made a motion to authorize the mayor to execute resolution 24-10 presented; Clabe F. Consider changing the Regular City Council meeting time. 5:30 pm to a later time would work better for everyone.  Clabe F. Webb discussed with council members whether moving the meeting time from Clabe F. Webb made a motion to move the meeting time from 5:30 pm to 6:30pm moving forward, RA Morris seconded the motion. Vote: 5/0 motion carried.  7. Consider Water Plant Pilot Study Vendor Selection: The city must select a pilot study vendor. The city council may either.  select the vendor at the next city council meeting after a presentation by. Jacob & or the city council can vote to authorize the utility director to make that decision. The city council has discussed the two options. If the council goes with option one there would be all sorts of questions sO it makes sense to have Ricky review all the data and make the decision about what would work in the best interest of the city. Ricky said there are variables to be considered, one for instance operational differences, not just the cost. Clabe F. Webb made a motion to authorize the city utility director to make the decision to choose which vendor to go with; Zach Davidson seconded the motion. Mayor Gohman is working on a hazard migration plan with the county. We are a player in There are eight graves that have collapsed after the recent earthquakes in the area. This happened before the rain that we have recently received. Once the ground dries out the  city workers will add more dirt to the collapsed graves.  Utility Director -  Ricky Royall reported the tie ends will be done today to phase II of the Humble pipeline  project. In a few weeks we will start on Phase III.  City Secretary  Teresa Ballard reported that Tara Robinson and I have attending meetings for Bronteoberfest and Christmas in Olde Bronte. Tara has been soliciting items for Christmas in Olde Bronte. If you have connections with school, we are trying to get the Iwas able to get four corn hole sets made and donated to the volunteer fire department Continuing working with Ms. Gentry, getting items for Salt of the Earth Food Ministry food The upcoming events that are coming are Bronteoberfest is October 19th and Christmas TMCN Training opportunities - September 25th in Abilene and September 26th in Early. City Council  Mayor Gohman asked if there were any future agenda items. Clabe F. Webb asked why does it say, "no discussion"? Mayor Gohman answered because it is a violation of the open meetings act. If you want to suggest something to be on the agenda that is ok, but you cannot discuss it at that time. That is what causes the violation of the open meeting  act.
