On the 12th day of September 2024, the City of Patton Village Council conducted a Regular Meeting, the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, the date, place, and subject posted as pursuant to the provisions of Texas  6:39 P.M. Motion was made by Council Member Garry Hershman and seconded by Council Member Barbaral Earhart to consider, discuss, and act on an ordinance canceling the election due to unopposed candidates running for each council position 2, Motion was made by Council Member Garry Hershman and seconded by Council Member Barbara Earhart to approve Ordinance 2024-010, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTON VILLAGE, TEXAS; DECLARING THE UNOPPOSED CANDIDATES ELECTED; PROVIDING THAT THE NOVEMBER 5, 2024, GENERAL ELECTION SHALL NOT BE HELD AS TO COUNCIL MEMBER POSITIONS 2, 3 AND 4; CONTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND REPEALING ALL  ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT OR IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. AMENDING THE RATES AND CHARGES FOR MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER SERVICES.  Vote: All ini favor Motion carried.  E. Motion was made by Council Member Garry Hershman and seconded by Council Member Dyane Anderson to consider, discuss, and take possible action on approving ORDINANCE 2024-009, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTON VILLAGE, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2024-001, ESTABLISHING OFFICERS OF THE COURT; AND ESTABLISHING THE TERMS, SALARY AND DUTIES OF MUNICIPAL OFFICERS OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND Motion was made by Council Member Barbara Earhart and seconded by Council Member Billy Crittenden to postpone taking possible action on approving ORDINANCE 2024-009, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTON VILLAGE, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2024-001, ESTABLISHING OFFICERS OF THE COURT; AND ESTABLISHING THE TERMS, SALARY AND DUTIES OF MUNICIPAL OFFICERS OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE  ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. I.N Motion was madel by Council Member Billy Crittenden and seconded by Council Member Garry Hershman to consider, discuss, and adopt ar resolution designating a disaster recovery management service provider to complete application and project implementation fort the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA)/Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) funding administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Texas Division Motion was made by Council Member Garry Hershman and seconded by Council Member Dyane Anderson to adopt RESOLUTION 2024-009, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PATTON VILLAGE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER(S) SELECTION FOR FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) PUBLIC ASSISTANCE (PA)/HAZARD MITIGATION ASSISTANCE (HMA) PROGRAM(S) FUNDED THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY, TEXAS DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT (TDEM)  of Emergency Management and/or Texas Water Development Board. Adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Texas Government Code Sec. 551.074 to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal ofap public officer or employee or tol hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee, specifically to discuss court matters with Judge Mecredy for the City of Patton  Village.  10:04P.M.
