Mayor Carr recognized Stephen Qualls and his years of sèrvice to the City and community.  3.  CONSENT CALENDAR:  3.1: Approval of the Minutes of the Special Meeting of November 12, 2024.  3.2: Approval of the Warrants.  3.3: Approval to Award and Install Tree Lighting along Hughson Avenue to Placido's Christmas Lights, for $16,180.00 and Approve the Purchase of six (6) new Street Light Poles for install along Hughson Avenue, for $27,438.00, for a total cost of  $43,618.00.  Councilmember Rush pulled Item 3.3 from the Consent Calendar for special consideration.  CARR/MICFADON  5-0-0-0  motion passes to approve the Consent Calendar,  excluding Item 3.3, with the following roll call vote:  CROOKER AYE  RUSH AYE  STRAIN AYE  MCFADON AYE  CARR AYE  Councilmember Rush wanted to confirm the location of the installation of new street light  poles. COMMENTS:  8.1: Staff Reports and/or Comments:  City Manager Romo updated the Council on her attendance at the Chamber of Commerce meeting, the Arboretum Fall Festival, the Civic Center Project Community meeting, the Ministerial Association Leadership Breakfast, and the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency briefing. She then provided updates regarding the Christmas Parade, AB1600 Report, and the City Clerk Gose informed the City Council that the November 5, 2024, General Election would be certified by the Stanislaus County Clerk-Recorder & Registrar ofVoter on December3,2 2024. Chief Mackinnon provided the latest statistical report for Hughson Police Services.  status of the recognition of the girls flag football team.  8.2: Council Member/Mayor Comments:  Councilmember McFadon updated the Council on his attendance at the Dennis Wallace Councilmember Rush requested the Hughson Youth Football teams be recognized at at future Councilmember Strain updated the Council on her attendance at the Trunk, or Tent and' Treat, the Hughson Arboretum Fall Festival, Coffee with the Superintendent, a Civic Center Project Community meeting, a Hughson Ministerial Association Leadership Breakfast, and the Dennis Wallace Memorial Balloon Release since the last meeting.
