CHIEF FARELLY: Ihave missed the last several months due to training but have tried to have delegates show up on my behalf. We have been working with the school doing some training there and have been working closely with Monroeville and they are our primary backup. There have been: some violent crimes, but we have a 95% arrest rate and GREG. JAKUB: we are also working with Monroeville to get some additional cameras installed on both sides oft town. now we have 91 full time officers and al DOT officer. CODE ENFORCEMENT: G.J JAKUB: did we ever interview the person that was interested in the position? K. MAXWELL: No, we discussed it but never brought her in. Caroline, can you call her and: see if she is still interested. PROPERTY MAINTENANCE: PUBLIC WORKS-J. MARÇOZ: There is a report in the packets, and he is trying to keep busy. Would we be able to get a dumpster for a day fori the street department to pick up the large items that have been laying around for months? G.. JAKUB: and where are we going to put it so that no one will use it? K. MAXWELL: we may be able to put it in the driveway? Can we call Big's and get a price for this to be here just fora day. G.JAKUB: Have we heard anything about the salt bin? C.L LANG: it was turned into insurance; they had an adjustor come out and look at it and now we are waiting for the ENGINEER-E B. BRANTHOOVER: CD-49 parki improvements are almost done. The concrete work has been completed and the electrical is underway. The GEDTF catch basin project bids were opened and we received two quotes. The Borough was awarded $50,000.00. We did al base bid for 10 basins and an alternate bid for 15 basins. EIGrande came in at $65,750.00 for the base bis and Creative Enterprises was $85,000.00. We recommend awarding the work to El Grande and council will just need to determine if they want to do the base project or the alternate. results of the adjustors. J.H HARTZELL: COG shows that we were awarded $65,750.00. B.BRANTHOOVER: will touch base with Molly to double check what we are being awarded. J.HARTZELL: We can apply for catch basins with the county project as well. B. BRANTHOOVER:had a meeting with them and I'm not sure how they sold it to you, but they will do some cleaning oft basins and they have some money set aside to make a rain garden ofs some sort. Idon't believe they will replace K.N MAXWELL: can we do an email vote once you get the exact amount awarded for the catch basin project. B.B BRANTHOOVER: yes. Next is the Act: 152 applications, we submitted for 9: structures and ljust need council to .HARTZELL/J. THOMAS TO APPROVE THE ACT152 CONCURUING RESOLUTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $199,000.00. B. BRANTHOOVER: last is the LSA application that is opened. We have not heard what, ifany, we will receive from last year's LSA but we do need to look forward to what you would like to apply for this year sO we can start to work ont that. COG REPORT- J.H HARTZELL: there was notr much aside from what we just discussed. There were enough towns to join the Verizon contract sO we willl be receiving a 20% discount and COG is going to put $2000.001 toward the cost for each participating town. Are we getting the same amount of money from the water company as we did last year? C.L LANG: No, but 1 have been in thet talks with all oft the other managers, and we are about 10% less then we: should be. inlets though. approve the resolution for the grant in the amount of $199,000.00. FINANCE-J.THOMAS: APPROVAL7-0. J.THOMAS/S. VOLPE" TO PAYI BILLS IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,758.10 FROM THE GENERAL FUND.
