AND PRESENTATIONS The Community Transit CEO, Ric IIgenfritz provided an overview of the upcoming projects and the launching of the Zip Shuttle "on demand service" for the Arlington area. He introduced Meg Tally who recognized and thanked the workgroup that was instrumental in getting the Zip Shuttle pilot project implemented and she provide details on the upcoming app and start date for the Zip Shuttle. Apply for Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Grants Ordinance Extending a Moratorium for Island Crossing Development Community and Economic Development Director Marc Hayes introduced the Ordinance to extend the Island Crossing Development moratorium starting in December 2024. The public hearing closed at 6:18 p.m. The public comment portion closed and opened for Council questions at 6:16 p.m. Councilmember Heather Logan moved, and Councilmember Michelle Blythe seconded the motion to approve the ordinance extending a moratorium on the issuance of development permits within the Island Crossing subarea and authorized the Mayor to sign it.' Kimberly Leach and Holland Nobach were in attendance and introduced themselves to the Councilmember Rob Toyer moved, and Councilmember Heather Logan seconded the motion to consent to the appointments and re-appointments of the 2024-2025 youth Ordinance Amending Chapter 8.10 ofthe Arlington Municipal Code Regarding Police Support Officer Inci Yarkut requested Council approve the changes to Chapter 8.10 of the. Arlington Municipal Code where the changes reflect the animal control regulations thatl limits the number of pets per household, establishes specific rules on handling noisy animals, and allows the police department to provide oversight and decision making to Councilmember Yvonne Gallardo-Van Ornam moved, and Councilmember Leisha Nobach seconded the motion move to approve the ordinance amending Chapter 8.10 ofthe Arlington Municipal Code and authorized the Mayor to sign it, pending final review by the City Attorney.
