Councilman Those Present: Mayor: Aubrey Stewart Mayor Pro-Tem: Jayton) Lindley Employees: Michele Rabenaldt, City Administrator Gus Pardo, Operator Thei meeting was calledt to order at 6:36 p.m. by Mayor Aubrey Stewart, with quorum present. Pledge ofA Allegiance and Salute tot the' Texas Flag were recited by alli ina attendance. Opening prayer was given by Councilman Crutchfield. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Roberts & McGee presented 2022-2023 audit tot the council. City was presented with a clean audit by Caral Hilbrich. ZESCH & PICKETTINSURANCE Bobby Zeschj presented the council with) healthi insurance options for city employees. Discussion PER DIEM SPENDING Councilman Crutchfield made a motion to continue allowing city employees to use the city credit card for travel METER REPLACEMENTS) FOR ABANDONED LOTS: Councilman Lindley made a motion to make an amendment to the Water/Sewer Ordinance fori installation of new meters on abandoned lots. The amendment willi include 50% of meter cost will be covered by customer and! 50%1 will covered by the City of Mertzon. This will only pertain to empty lots with current owners that already have an old meter oni it not currently in use. The sale or transfer of the land will cancel this amendment, and the new owner willl be responsible: for full cost ofr meter installation. Councilman Councilman seconded.. Alli ini favor. Back filled meter boxes. 4. Replaced regulator at 5141 W. Garden. 5. Reduced: meter to %i incha at 110N. Second Street. 5. Replaced: shut off valve at 111 W. Duncan. 7. Took watera and wastewater samples tot town. 8. Installed new locks at the new office building. 9. Worked on' WWTPx7. 10. Back filled meters.
