City of Coldspring, Texas Minutes of the Regular Called Council Meeting Monday, November 4, 2024 1. Meeting called to order 7:00 PM 2. Roll call. Present: Alderman Jessica Sewell, Jennifer Manuel, Dianne Griffith, Nichole Gatewood, Visitors: Michelle Haylock-CVFD, Shawna Holman-CVFD, Greg Magee-City Attorney Kyle Currie and Mayor. Operation of Treatment Plant and Collections System - Josh Taylor, the city's sewer operator, presented the report on the Operation of the Treatment Plant and Collections Systems. The plant operated at 17 percent capacity fori the month of October and1 flowed an average of 0.46 MGD. Josh updated on Lift Stations 1,2, &4, the generators at each lift station are waiting on injector pumps to be built and shipped to! be fixed. All three generators have had old diesel pumped out and new B. Financial & Legislative Reports- - Mayor John Benestante briefed Council with the current financial profit and loss statements fort the General account, Sewer & Maintenance, Hotel/Motel, Capital Projects, Community Center, Legislative Updates, and Investment Report. Mayor Benestante asked for any comments or questions regarding the profit and loss statements. There were none. C. GRANT/FUND Reports: Mayor. John Benestante briefed Council with the current Grant/Fund Reports for the ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act-COVID-TDEM), diesel pumped in. Amanda also briefed Council that there was one customer account that was locked in the month of October but F. OLDI BUSINESS: A. Discussion and possible action on loose dog ordinance-City. Attorney Greg Magee discussed with council the loose dog ordinance and to wait until thet first oft the year tos speak with the new Sherriff. No action wast taken at this time. B. Discussion and possible action on Live Oak Street-Mayor Benestante and City Attorney Greg Magee, briefed the Council on Live Oak Street. No action was taken at1 this time. C. Discussion and possible action on resolution concerning Street Lane right of way 30-foot easement. After a general discussion, a motion was madet to approve Resolution 2024-4 by Alderman Kyle Currie concerning Street Lane right of way 30- foot easement. This motion was seconded by Jessica Sewell.
